Sales Support Administrator

If you relate well to construction or trade-related industries and are known for your excellent customer engagement skills, then this will be a great role for you to consider. Hawke’s Bay Homes are well known for the construction of their impressive range of architecturally designed transportable buildings. We have built 100s of homes, holiday houses, classrooms, and commercial offices in their purpose-built building facility in Hastings, Hawke’s Bay. Our individual customer focus is evident at every contact point. We provide a seamless process for every client from start to finish, across concept drawings to Council consent applications, and right through to the coordination of subcontractors to full completion on site. You will be handling the front-end enquiries from their clients and filtering the required information and details to ensure things run smoothly both at the start and throughout each build.

As the front-end Sales Support Administrator, you are the first point of contact with clients, and the conduit with their wider sales and construction team. There is a wide range of enquiry in any given day, from walk-ins, to telephone calls, and emails. Your role is all about establishing where people are at in their building requirements and providing them with an initial oversight of what is on offer, then distilling their needs, and recording and passing on all the finer details to the Sales Manager.

This will be well suited to someone who enjoys a balance between people contact, customer service and administration. You will be known for your follow-up, coordination skills and your attention to detail. Professionalism and approachability must go hand in hand here. An affinity to relate to those looking to build dwellings will be really helpful. A down-to-earth relatable style, and the maturity to engage well with all walks of life will be essential. We're looking for a Fully Qualified Builder. We offer an awesome work environment - in a modern indoor building facility.

Hawke's Bay Homes specialises in building quality off-site manufactured houses, and we have got many projects on the go. We are building in a new purpose-built factory, which means there's no downtime and you don't get sunburnt or cold. We are after an experienced builder. If you're from outside of Hawke's Bay we can also help with accommodation.

Onsite construction team

We are looking for both short-term and long-term team members. Most of the work is part of our finishing team - once a prefabricated building has been shifted to a site. Work includes – installation of baseboards, pre-made decks & steps, and all final touch-ups. When it’s wet we will have work in our facility, if required.
